About us
The farm story
After 10 years of working in corporate, Wael decided to chase his dream of having an organic farm and established Wiiwii’s Farm back in 2017.
Wiiwii's Farm is an organic, eco-friendly farm and an Eco picnic/camp ground in Egypt. Visitors can take a tour on the farm and see how the farm works, and purchase directly to take home.
It's also a place to enjoy healthy nutritious food, connect with nature, and surround themselves in a dazzling environment full of plants & animals.
The farm also receives volunteers from all around the world who learn a lot about farming & sustainability.
The Heart of the Farm: A Harmony of Nature
The journey began with a simple belief: nature doesn't need to be "fixed"; it just needs to be respected. On our small organic farm, every element works in a beautiful, closed loop. Our chickens roam freely, our olive trees grow naturally, and our bees fly between them, connecting the entire ecosystem.
We follow one guiding principle: Patience over pace. We don’t rush our hens, we don’t force our trees, and we never exploit our bees. Instead, we provide them with the purest environment possible—free from synthetic medicines, harsh chemicals, and industrial shortcuts.
Three Treasures, One Philosophy
From the vibrant, dark yolks of our stress-free hens and the peppery, polyphenol-rich kick of our early-harvest olive oil to the raw, floral essence of our pure honey, every product is a reflection of this land. We use natural remedies like garlic for our flock, hand-pick our green olives for quality, and ethically harvest our honey with a deep respect for the hive.
We aren't just producing food; we are cultivating wellness. When you choose our eggs, oil, or honey, you are participating in a cycle of sustainable farming that honors the earth, respects the animals, and nourishes your family with the highest density of nutrients nature can provide.
Methodology
Wiiwii's Farm is applying several approaches, such as:
- Growing and raising everything organically & naturally
- Cover crops, crops rotation/diversity
- Using modern irrigation systems (dripping & spraying) to save the water
- Increasing the biodiversity in the field
- Closed loop (growing food for the farm animals & then use their manure to fertilize the soil)
- Responsibly using the resources & trying to adapt renewable ones more
- Recycling, upcycling, reducing the waste & using no single use plastic
- Bee keeping
- Raising fish
- Growing Azolla
You will learn more about this way of life when you visit the farm.
